Fill-out forms allow you to enter information into a form while it is displayed on your computer screen and then print out the completed form. You must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.1 , which is available for free online. You can also print out the form and write the information by hand. Fill-out forms are better than hand written forms because they offer a cleaner and crisper printout for your records and are easier for us to process.
IMPORTANT: The Acrobat Reader does not allow you to save your fill-out form to disk. To do so, you must have the full Adobe Acrobat 4.1 product suite, which can be purchased from Adobe. Maryland fill-out forms use the features provided with Acrobat 3.0 products. There is no computation, validation or verification of the information you enter, and you are fully responsible for the accuracy of all required information.

If you want to designate a third party as the recipient, provide that party’s name and address in the space provided. State the tax year of the return you want, and the type of form you filed.

Can I Get A Copy Of My Old 1994 Tax Return
I got a text the other day from a client asking if I could pull a copy of his 1994 tax return. My first gut reaction was, Why on earth would you need it? I learned a long time ago not to ask why unless there is a good reason. Maybe it was the last year he was married? Maybe hes just curious how much money he made then? I have no idea. I didnt ask. People have reasons.
However, I did give the following answer: The IRS keeps your tax return for 3 to 6 years after the tax is paid, then destroys it.
So, what CAN you get from the IRS and when?
You can get a copy of most of the information on your tax return, line-by-line, for about 3 years back .
You can get the underlying information that they received from others for 10 years back. This is the information from your W2s, 1099s, mortgage interest, retirement plans, etc. that you get in the mail every January to use to do your taxes.
You can get a copy of your tax bill and adjustments for 20 years in many cases. This shows your total income, when you filed your return, how much was owed, how much was paid, any refunds or any balance due. It does not show what was on your return.
But if its all digital now, why cant they just keep it all?
But what if I need an old tax return?
